The Guinness Fund

Picture
There is always that one dog - That dog that takes a piece of your heart when they leave you - A dog that inspires you to honor his memory by helping those dogs that are less fortunate. For his family and those of us who knew and loved him, Guinness is that dog.

Guinness was a handsome rascal, a charmer, an adventurer, a beach bum, a bird chaser, a lover of car rides, bacon and cheese, a barker (only when necessary), a true blue companion and a loyal and beloved family member. He was simply the best boy!

So his family and admirers have formed 'The Guinness Fund' in collaboration with the Vincentian Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (VSPCA) based in St Vincent and the Grenadines, his home. The VSPCA is an established non-profit charity formed in 2011 consisting of dedicated volunteers with a passion and vision to create a better world for the animals of this country and to help the local people who care for and love them.

The VSPCA is making great strides with community based Spay and Neuter Programs and Humane Education Programs in the local primary schools.

However, with all their hard work and dedication there are still many unwanted or abandoned dogs, those born on the streets with no homes and those subjected to abuse, injury, starvation and illnesses. Unfortunately it becomes commonplace to turn away or walk by when there is no one to turn to for help and no funds available. We are working to change that. No child should have to witness such suffering without knowing that they can be a part of the solution, without knowing there is a place and someone to report to who will help.

Sometimes it can take very little to make that difference and transform the life of a suffering dog.

Please consider making a donation in memory of sweet Guinness or that special dog that has a piece of your heart.

Your support will enable us to help them, your support will make a difference.

Guinness's family thanks you! The VSPCA of St Vincent thanks you! And our amazing Vincy Street dogs thank you!
